Martin Schoser

Martin Schoser (born May 25, 1962 in Cologne ) is a German politician ( CDU North Rhine-Westphalia ) and association official . Schoser was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from June 9, 2010 to March 14, 2012, currently he is managing director of the state working group for catholic. Adult and family education in NRW e. V.

Life

Martin Schoser was born in Cologne as the son of the association functionary Franz Schoser , he graduated from high school in 1981. He then completed his military service, then studied business administration at the University of Bayreuth and the University of Cologne from 1983 to 1987. He graduated as a Dipl. -Kaufmann ex. Then followed a doctorate to Dr. rer. pole. (Economics) at the University of Cologne in 1995. Since 1988 Schoser has worked in political education, in a federal ministry, in business and in the media industry. From 2012 to 2018 he was managing director of the Association of Catholic Entrepreneurs (BKU). He is a lecturer at the FOM University of Economics and Management. Schoser is married and has six children.

Schoser has been a member of the CDU since 1990. He is chairman of the CDU local branch Lindenthal and deputy chairman of the CDU district of Lindenthal.

From 1999 to 2010 Schoser was a member of the Council of the City of Cologne, where he was a member of the board of the CDU council group from 1999 to 2009, economic and media policy spokesman for the group from 2004 to 2009 and chairman of the building committee and the building management operations committee from 2009. From 1999 to 2010 he was also a member of the Rhineland Landscape Assembly. On May 25, 2014, he was re-elected directly to the Cologne City Council with 35.9% of the vote (constituency Lindenthal I).

In the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2010 , Schoser ran for the first time for the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia. With 38% of the first votes, he managed to move in directly. His constituency included the Cologne-Lindenthal district . In addition to his committees on innovation, science, research and technology , the main and media committee and climate protection, the environment, nature conservation, agriculture and consumer protection , he was the nature protection officer of the CDU parliamentary group in Düsseldorf and a member of the board of the SME parliamentary group.
