Martin Stowasser

Martin Stowasser (* 1959 ) is an Austrian Catholic theologian and associate professor at the University of Vienna .

Life

He studied Catholic theology from 1978 to 1983 at the Pontificio Ateneo Sant'Anselmo . After receiving his doctorate in 1990 as Dr. theol. at the Catholic-Theological Faculty of the University of Vienna and the habilitation studies on ethics, ecclesiology and soteriology in the New Testament with special consideration of the Gospel of Mark and the Lucanian double work 2001 in the subject New Testament Biblical Studies at the Catholic-Theological Faculty of the University of Vienna, he has been since 1 October 2001 associate professor for New Testament biblical studies there.
