Andrzej Walter (born December 29, 1969 in Zabrze ) is a Polish poet , writer , publicist, literary critic and photographer .

Life

His parents came from Lviv , but he has lived in Gleiwitz since he was born . From 1984 to 1988 he attended grammar school there, completed his studies at the Katowice University of Economics in 1994 , worked in a Polish-American bank and runs a tax consultancy with his wife Jadwiga Walter.

Literary development

Andrzej Walter made his debut in 2000. He is the author of seven volumes of poetry and literary critical publications. His texts can be found in various anthologies. Since 2011 he has been a member of the Polish writers' association Związek Literatów Polskich in Kraków, where he is a member of the qualification committee and publishes regularly on the literature portal “pisarze.pl”.

The Krakow poet Anna Kajtochowa wrote about his poetic work in 2007: "You can feel his concern for form: through the selection of artistic means such as contrasting metaphors, transparent compositions and the associated convincing execution."

Andrzej Walter is a freelance photographer with a quality degree from the New York Institute of Photography. In 2001 he won first prize in the competition of the publishing house “Serbin Communications” and won the competition of the magazine “Photographers Forum” ( USA ). He has also published several albums with his poetry and photography: Paryż (2003) and Miłość (2007), as well as Nastroje (2004) with poems by Jerzy Poradecki. His works are listed in the art catalog of B&W Magazine / USA.
