Martin Zondler

Martin Zondler (born February 9, 1965 in Stuttgart ) is a German motorsport driver .

In 2006 he won the German championship title in the ADAC Procar series with RSG Wolfsburg.

Motorsport career

Zondler's career began in 1987 with his first overall victory at an international rally in Germany.

Six years later he won the championship title "Rallye-Pokal Süd-West". With over 60 overall victories and many class and group victories in races all over Europe, he built his reputation as a successful motorsport racing driver until 1995 . In the same year he switched to the circuit, on which he was able to achieve numerous victories in the German endurance cup and the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring .

Four years later he became part of the “ ADAC Pro Car ” and the “ German Touring Car Challenge ” (DTC), where in 2001 his team achieved the title of best privateer team. Martin Zondler achieved one of his greatest successes in 2006 with his German championship title in the “ADAC Pro Car Championship” with RSG Wolfsburg. He also stayed in the fast lane internationally. In 2008 he was able to secure the runner-up title “Supercars” in South Africa. Five years later he took part in the “Hyundai Veloster” project in the 24-hour race with Hyundai Motorsport.

Life

After Zondler had completed his apprenticeship as a car mechanic in 1983, he began his part-time career in the automotive trade three years later with a car repair shop focusing on motorsport. He has been a state-recognized master car mechanic since 1989. Four years later he completed his studies with a degree in automotive business administration at the vocational school for business administration in the automotive industry (BFC).

In the following years he worked, among other things, as a management consultant and assistant to the management and in 2001 took over the Hyundai car dealership in Graben-Neudorf near Bruchsal, which had been in existence since 1991 .
