Martin von Margat

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Martin von Margat († after 1153) was cupbearer of Antioch .

He is documented between 1140 and 1144 as cupbearer of the Prince of Antioch, Raimund von Poitiers . Raimund's successor, Renaud de Châtillon , no longer employed him as cupbearer in 1153.

His nickname suggests that he was also castellan of Burg Margat for Mr. Reinald II Mansoer there.
