Martina Gredler

Martina Gredler (born September 29, 1958 in Vienna ) is an Austrian dentist and former politician ( LIF ). Gredler was a member of the Austrian National Council and a member of the European Parliament .

biography

Gredler attended the French School in Strasbourg from 1963 to 1970 and the Belgian School in Cologne - Rösrath from 1970 to 1977 . She then studied Sinology in Bonn and Beijing from 1977 to 1978 and then switched to studying medicine at the University of Vienna , which she received in 1985 with the academic degree Dr. med. completed. Then Gredler completed an apprenticeship at the clinic for dentistry, oral and maxillofacial medicine. From 1986 and 1987 Gredler was a university assistant at the Clinic for Maxillofacial Surgery 1986–1987 and in 1989 opened her own dental practice in Vienna.

From 1980 Gredler held various functions in political youth organizations in Germany and internationally and was a member of the federal party presidium of the Liberal Forum from 1993 to 1995. From 1993 she represented the Liberal International at the United Nations in Vienna. Gredler was a member of the National Council from November 7, 1994 to January 20, 1995 and from October 30, 1996 until the Liberal Forum left Parliament on October 28, 1999. From January 1, 1995 to November 11, 1996, Gredler was also a member of the European Parliament.
