Martina Lammel

Martina Lammel (* 1970 in Rheinfelden, Baden ) is a German designer and nonfiction - author with the main theme of Do it yourself (DIY) . Lammel became known through books and appearances on television programs.

Life

Before 2000, Martina Lammel was a publishing employee at OZ and BPV in Rheinfelden, responsible for the creative magazine Lena and its graphic design. She published her ideas in magazines such as Verena Kreativ (Verlag Aenne Burda). Since 2000, Lammel has been developing freelance DIY ideas and patented inventions, which she presents in books, trade fair appearances and TV reports, such as ARD buffet , coffee or tea , RTL der Mittag, Galileo (Pro7), Landesschau Baden-Württemberg ( Südwestrundfunk ), Mach what out of it ( ZDF , 2019).

In almost all of her creations, Lammel draws on everyday objects, which she puts to a new use through new combinations or deformation. Designs based on your ideas can often be imitated without purchasing expensive materials. She also does upcycling .
