Martini & Cie
The former company Martini & Cie. was a textile processing company based in Augsburg . Founded in 1832 by the brothers Clemens and Friedrich Martini, a plant was initially opened in Haunstetten ( 48 ° 18 ′ 16.9 ″ N , 10 ° 54 ′ 38.9 ″ E ) . In 1847 another plant was finally built in the textile district ( 48 ° 21 ′ 49 ″ N , 10 ° 55 ′ 8.8 ″ E ) not far from other textile factories.
With the decline of the textile industry, the factory in Haunstetten was closed in the early 1990s and demolished in 1995. The industrial site (today's name is martini park ) in the textile district was not given up and is now home to various small businesses.
