Martinsplatz 4 (Kronach)
The Martinsplatz 4 building , the former Gasthaus zum Grüne Baum, is a listed building in the Upper Franconian town of Kronach in Bavaria .
Location and description
The building is located on the north side of Martinsplatz in the north of Kronach's old town. It is a two-storey eaves gable roof building with a sandstone facade .
history
The core of the structure was erected in the first half of the 18th century, the sandstone facade was built in the first half of the 19th century.
On July 28, 1925, the first National Socialist parliamentary group was founded in the building in the presence of Adolf Hitler . After the start of the National Socialist dictatorship in 1933, a notice board was placed at the entrance to the building to remind of this fact.
