Martti Elias Huhtala (born November 12, 1918 in Rovaniemi , † October 25, 2005 in Rovaniemi) was a Finnish cross-country skier and Nordic combined athlete .

Huhtala, who started for the Ounasvaaran Hiihtoseura , won the Nordic Combined in 1945 at the Lahti Ski Games . He had his greatest international success at the 1948 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz . There he won the silver medal in the Nordic combined. In addition, he ran there in cross-country skiing in tenth place over 18 km. In the same year he became Finnish champion in Nordic combined. Two years later he came in the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lake Placid on the 20th place over 18 km and on the seventh place in the Nordic combined.

Huhtala was a soldier during his cross-country skiing career. From 1955 to 1956 he was President of the Ounasvaaran Hiihtoseura Association and from 1968 to 1971 worked as a bank director.
