Martyn Ashton (born December 2, 1974 ) is a former professional British trial bike rider .

Life

Martyn Ashton has been a trial pro since 1993. He became a four-time British champion and world champion in this discipline.

On September 1, 2013, during a stunt show at the Moto GP in Silverstone , he fell down a three meter ridge, landed on his shoulders and injured his thoracic spine. Martyn Ashton has been paralyzed and in a wheelchair since then . After this accident he continues to work as a team manager.
