Maruti Esteem
The Maruti Esteem is based on the Suzuki Cultus and is the successor to the Maruti 1000 . The Maruti Esteem is available with a 1.3 l (1298 cm³) gasoline engine at a price of around 420,000 Indian rupees (around 7600 euros ) or with a 1.5 l (1527 cm³) diesel engine for around 520,000 Indian rupees (around 9400 euros). The Maruti Esteem is offered in five different versions. The petrol engine has an output of 63.4 kW and achieves a torque of 105 Nm at a speed of 6000 rpm. It uses 5 liters of petrol per 100 km. The diesel engine is based on a model from Peugeot and has an output of 42.5 kW with a torque of 96 Nm at a speed of 2500 rpm.
