Marwan Tarek (born January 30, 2000 in Cairo ) is an Egyptian squash player .

Career

Marwan Tarek first played on the PSA World Tour in 2016 and has won a title so far. He reached his highest position in the world rankings with 179th place in September 2017. Even in his time with the juniors he celebrated great successes. In 2017 he won the Junior World Championship after beating Victor Crouin in the final 11: 9, 3:11, 11: 6, 3:11 and 11: 2. The following year he reached the final again, in which he was defeated Mostafa Asal in three sets.

He studies at Harvard University , for which he is also active in college squash.
