Mary Irwin-Gibson is an Anglican bishop in Canada .

Life

Irwin-Gibson was ordained a deacon in Christ Church Cathedral in Montreal , Canada on June 7, 1981, and was ordained a priestess on May 16, 1982 . She served as the principal of St George's Cathedral in Kingston , Ontario . On June 6, 2015, Irwin-Gibson was elected 12th bishop in the Anglican diocese of Montreal.
