Mary Staton
Mary Staton (born around 1944) is an American science fiction writer.
She has published two novels so far. The first was From the Legend of Biel , published by Ace Books in 1975 , which deals with the legacies of an advanced civilization on an Earth-like planet. Trying to decipher a message from this civilization will lead to disaster.
In 2007 Staton published another novel, Wilderness of the Heart - Seven Gates , a distant future dystopia about the conflicts between the four last cultures of mankind, the Great City , the last city on the surface of the earth Space States exploring the galaxy in four giant mother ships in search of a new earth, the subterranean despotism of SubTurra and finally the Stone Age people living underground, to whom the protagonist, a refugee from Great City , is cast .
