Masaharu Yamazaki ( Japanese 山崎 正 晴 ; born May 21, 1968 in Niigata Prefecture ) is a former Japanese cross-country skier .

Yamazaki started internationally for the first time at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary . There he finished 77th place over 30 km classic and 68th place over 15 km classic. Together with Atsushi Egawa , Kazunari Sasaki and Tanayuki Yuki , he won 14th place in the season. In March 1990 he won the gold medal with the relay at the Winter Asian Games in Sapporo .
