Masahiko Mifune

Masahiko Mifune ( Japanese 三 船 雅 彦 , Mifune Masahiko ; born January 8, 1969 in Okayama ) is a Japanese cyclocross and road cyclist.

Masahiko Mifune started his career in 1994 with the Australian cycling team Panasonic . In 1997 he moved to the Belgian team Tönissteiner-Colnago . In 2000 he won the Kansai Cyclo-Cross in Rittō and a year later he became Japanese Cross Champion. In the 2004 season he won the Hong Kong Cycle Classic, a cross race in Katsuragawa and a stage in the Tour of South China Sea . From 2005 he drove for Miyata-Subaru , where he won the Kansai Cyclo-Cross and a cross race in Lake Biwa for the second time. Mifune has been driving for the Japanese Continental Team Matrix Powertag since 2007 . In his first season there he was successful on part of the Tour of Thailand .
