Tobias Weber

Tobias Weber (born December 28, 1892 in Bobenheim am Berg ; † January 16, 1963 in Karlsruhe ) was a German entrepreneur and politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending the Progymnasium in Grünstadt , Weber embarked on a civil service career, initially working at the tax office in Grünstadt and from 1916 to 1919 as a tax inspector at the tax office in Pirmasens . In 1919 he was employed in a Pirmasens shoe factory and had been a partner in the company since 1932. In 1950 he became the sole personally liable partner of the company.

Political party

Weber joined the CDP after 1945 , from which the Rhineland-Palatinate state association of the CDU later emerged.

MP

Weber was a member of the Advisory State Assembly of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate in 1946/47 and was then elected to the Rhineland-Palatinate Landtag , to which he belonged until his resignation on February 22, 1950. From 1947 until he left parliament, he served as vice-president of the state parliament.
