Masahiro Yoshimura
Masahiro Yoshimura ( Japanese 吉 村 昌 弘 , Yoshimura Masahiro ; born October 28, 1936 in Ehime Prefecture ; † September 27, 2003 ) was a Japanese swimmer .
Yoshimura was a participant in the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne. In the competition over 200 meters chest he won the silver medal behind his compatriot Masaru Furukawa . In the final, he ran a close race with the Soviet athlete Charis Junitschew for second place, which he won with a tenth of a second advantage.
