Masamori Tokuyama

Masamori Tokuyama (* 17th September 1974 in Tokyo , Japan ) is a former North Korean boxers in the super flyweight .

Professional career

On August 27, 2000, he boxed against In-Joo Cho for the WBC world championship and won by unanimous decision of the judges. He defended this belt eight times and lost it in June 2004 to Katsushige Kawashima by knockout.

However, he won the direct rematch, which took place on July 18 of the following year, against Kawashima by unanimous decision and thus became WBC world champion in super flyweight for the second time. After successfully defending his title against José Navarro in February of the following year, Tokuyama resigned as world champion.
