Masateru Yugami (born April 14, 1993 ) is a Japanese discus thrower .

Career

Masateru Yugami gained his first international experience at the Asian Championships 2017 in Bhubaneswar , where he finished ninth with 56.66 m. In 2018 he took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time , where he achieved sixth place with a throw of 57.62 m. The following year he was fourth at the Asian Championships in Doha with a width of 57.90 m.

In 2018 Yugami became the Japanese champion in discus throw.
