Youness Mokhtar ( Arabic يونس مختار, DMG Yūnus Muḫtār ; * August 29, 1991 in Utrecht ) is a Dutch - Moroccan football player .

Career

society

Mokhtar began with club football at USV Elinkwijk and later brought in the youth department of PSV Eindhoven . In 2010 he received a professional contract from PSV and was loaned to the second division club FC Eindhoven for the 2011/12 season. In the summer of 2012 he left PSV and moved to the first division club PEC Zwolle . At this club he finished his first season with 26 league games and seven goals and was signed for the next season by FC Twente Enschede . At this club, where he also played a game for the reserve team Jong FC Twente , he stayed for two seasons. In 2015 he played for al-Nasr for a short time and returned to PEC Zwolle in summer 2016.

For the 2018/19 season, Mokhtar from the Turkish Süper Lig was signed by newly promoted MKE Ankaragücü and left them prematurely in January 2019.

National team

Mokhtar began his national team career in 2007 with an assignment for the Dutch U-17 national team . This was followed by missions for the Dutch U-19 national team .

In 2011, Mpkhtar decided to change associations and made his debut for the Moroccan U-20 national team .
