Andrew Tarbell (born October 7, 1993 in Mandeville , Louisiana ) is an American football player who is used as a goalkeeper . He is currently under contract with Columbus Crew .

Career

In his youth he played for the amateur team New Orleans Jesters until the summer of 2012 . He then played for the Clemson Tigers of the eponymous university from South Carolina until 2016 . In the 2016 draft he was then drawn by the San José Earthquakes . His only use of the season he received on August 28 in a 2-0 defeat against the Columbus Crew, in which he was substituted on at halftime when the score was 0-1 for the injured David Bingham .

At the end of March 2017, he was loaned to Reno 1868 FC , who played in the USL , and the loan ended at the end of November of the same year. He played with the Quakes until February 2020, when he was supposed to switch to the Columbus Crew.
