Hector O. Jiménez (born November 3, 1988 in Huntington Park , California ) is an American football player who is used as a defender . He is currently under contract with Columbus Crew .

Career

From 2002 he was with Arsenal FC in California , about it he stayed again in 2005 in the IMG Soccer Academy in Florida . From 2006 he was active with the California Golden Bears . In the draft for the 2011 season he was selected by LA Galaxy and finally got his first appearance in an MLS game on May 12 in a 1-1 draw at Philadelphia Union . In the 89th minute he came on for Michael Stephens . This season he managed to win the MLS Cup and the supporter Shield with the team . In the 2012 season, he won the cup again.

For the 2014 season he moved to the Columbus Crew in Ohio .
