Pedro Miguel Martins Santos (born April 22, 1988 in Lisbon ) is a Portuguese football player who is used as a right winger. He is currently under contract with Columbus Crew .

Career

Club career

He comes from the youth of Casa Pia AC and advanced to the first team for the 2007/08 season. From there he went on to the 2010/11 season for Leixões SC for which he was allowed to play his first game in the second Portuguese division on August 28, 2010 . In the 2-1 defeat at SC Covilhã , he came on in the 80th minute for Fábio Espinho . For the 2012/13 season he went to Vitória Setúbal , in which he should also be used for the first time in the first division .

After this season he went to Sporting Braga for a longer period of time . As early as September 2013, however, he went on loan to Romania to Astra Giurgiu , for whom he was supposed to play half-time. As part of the team in this competition, he was also able to call himself the Romanian cup winner. From there it went straight to another loan to Rio Ave FC . From the 2014/15 season he was permanently active in Braga. In 2016 he won the Portuguese Cup again with the team .

In the summer of 2017, however, he finally ended his time in Portugal and moved to the USA for the MLS franchise Columbus Crew from Ohio . Here he was used for the first time in a 1-1 draw at Orlando City in the 2017 season . He was used in the 62nd minute for Christian Martínez .

National team career

In 2007 he came on two missions for the Portuguese U-19 national team .
