Aboubacar Keita (born April 6, 2000 in New York City ) is an American - Guinean soccer player . He has been under contract with the MLS franchise Columbus Crew since mid-May 2019 .

Career

society

He spent his youth at the Crew Academy and was also active for the Virginia Cavaliers . He finally joined the first team at Columbus at the end of January 2019. From there he was loaned out to the Richmond Kickers for about 2 months , for which he was used three times in USL1 . Since May 2019 he has been back in the Columbus squad. His first appearance in the MLS was when he lost 1-0 to Real Salt Lake .

National team

His first appearance for the United States U-20 team was on March 22, 2019 in a 2-2 friendly in France . In the same year he also ran on for the team in every game at the U-20 World Cup in Poland .
