Jordan Hamilton (born March 17, 1996 in Toronto ) is a Canadian - Jamaican football player . He has been under contract with the MLS franchise Columbus Crew since July 2019 .

Career

He spent his youth at the Academy of Toronto FC. For the reserve team of his club he was already twice in the USL Pro in September 2013 . In the 2014 season he was then used again in the MLS on April 14th in a 0-1 defeat against the Colorado Rapids . However, his substitution for Mark Bloom was not made until the 90th minute.

In the summer of 2014 there was a loan to the Portuguese club CD Trofense until the end of the year , where he also played in the second division . Back in the MLS, he was used again and again for both the first and the second team in the USL. During this time he won the Canadian Cup three times . As well as the MLS Cup and the Supporters Shield in the 2017 season .

In July 2019, he finally moved on to Columbus Crew in Ohio within the league .
