MLS Cup
The MLS Cup is the final of the US soccer league Major League Soccer . The winner of the MLS Cup is a master and qualifies together with the winner of the MLS Supporters' Shield for the CONCACAF Champions League .
As a trophy to the winner, the Philip F. Anschutz Trophy presented, which is named after one of the biggest sponsors of MLS. Until 2007 the Alan I. Rothenberg Trophy was awarded, which was named after the founding chairman of the MLS. The winner of the MLS Cup is allowed to wear the Scudetto the following season . Based on the Italian Serie A, the Scudetto shows the trophy won and a championship star .
The venue is usually determined one to two years in advance. The MLS Cup was held five times in the stadium of one of the finalists.
