Masaya Matsumoto ( Japanese 松本 昌 也 Matsumoto Masaya ; born January 25, 1995 in Nakatsu ) is a Japanese football player .
Career
Matsumoto learned to play soccer at JFA Academy Fukushima . He signed his first contract with Ōita Trinita in 2013 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . At the end of the 2013 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . At the end of the 2015 season, the club was relegated to the J3 League . For the club, he completed 97 league games. In 2017 he moved to the first division club Júbilo Iwata . At the end of the 2019 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League.
