Masayo Miyagawa

Miyagawa Masayo ( Japanese 宮 川 匡 代 , Miyagawa Masayo ; * March 10, 19xx) is a Japanese manga artist . She has already published over 70 books.

Miyagawa published her first work as a professional draftsman in 1979 with the short story 92-satsu no Anata to Watashi in the June issue of the manga magazine Bessatsu Margaret . Numerous other short works for this magazine followed. The Shūeisha publishing house has been publishing its manga in paperback volumes since the 1980s; often there are volumes with several short stories, sometimes also anthologies of series.

The author achieved success with the seven-volume manga series One - Ai ni naritai , on which she worked for Bessatsu Margaret from 1987 to 1988 . With a volume of around 3000 pages in 19 anthologies, Ringo to Hachimitsu is her longest work to date. It first appeared in Bouquet magazine from 1998 , but after it was discontinued it switched to the newly founded Cookie magazine and later to the Cookie Box , in which it is still published.

While all of her previously published work as Shōjo manga was aimed primarily at teenage girls of middle and high school age, Miyagawa has been producing Josei manga for adult women since the early 2000s . These Josei mangas - including the seven-volume Loveholic and the not-yet-finished series Kiss and Fight - appear in magazines such as Chorus and Silky .
