Masoller is a town in Uruguay .
geography
It is located in Sector 3 of the Rivera Department in its northwestern part on the border with the neighboring departments Salto and Artigas and directly on the border with the Uruguayan neighboring country Brazil . The Uruguayan Ruta 30 runs along the edge of the town .
history
Masoller was the site of the Battle of Masoller on September 1, 1904, during the Civil War . In September 1990 Masoller was classified in the “Centro Poblado” category by Law No. 8.711.
