Mason Motor Truck Company was an American manufacturer of commercial vehicles from Flint , Michigan .

The company was co-founded by Arthur C. Mason and Willam C. Durant . Mason was a former engineer at Buick and Durant took over the company and formed General Motors from it .

In 1920 Durant had to leave General Motors for the second time. In 1922 he incorporated the Mason Motor Truck Company into his new concern, Durant Motors , where the company was responsible for medium and heavy trucks. The Road King Speed ​​Truck was built there in the early 1920s .
