Qyshk massacre

The Qyshk massacre ( Albanian  Masakra e Qyshkut ; Serbian Масакр у Ћушкој Masakr u Ćuškoj ) took place on May 14, 1999 during the Kosovo War near the town of Qyshk .

At least 43 Albanian civilians were killed in the massacre . Members of the Serbian militia " Šakali " were suspected . On December 28, 2010, an alleged Serb war criminal was arrested in connection with this in Montenegro . Another suspect was arrested in Germany the previous week .

The trial of nine defendants began on December 20, 2010 in Belgrade . International searches are still underway for 15 suspects.
