Qyshk ( Albanian  also  Qyshku , Serbian Ћушка Ćuška ) is a village in Kosovo east of the city of Peja .

massacre

On May 14, 1999, during the war in Kosovo, a massacre of at least 43 Albanian civilians took place in Qyshk.

population

The 2011 census of Qyshk showed a population of 1,481, of which 1,377 (92.98%) described themselves as Albanians , 101 (6.82%) as Roma or Balkan Egyptians and one person as a Bosniak .
