Massimo Rivola

Massimo Rivola (born December 7, 1971 in Faenza ) is an Italian motorsport official and the current sports director of Scuderia Ferrari .

Career

Massimo Rivola studied business administration at the University of Bologna and from 1998 worked for Minardi for ten years . For the Italian Formula 1 racing team , he first worked in the marketing department , took care of the sponsors' concerns and in 2003 rose to the position of deputy manager and sports director. After the takeover of Minardi by Red Bull GmbH in 2005 and the renaming of the team to Scuderia Toro Rosso , he remained in the traditional position until 2008. In 2009 he moved to Scuderia Ferrari, where he held the position of sports director.
