Matúš Mikuš (born July 8, 1991 in Topoľčany , Czechoslovakia ) is a Slovak football player .

Athletic career

Matúš Mikuš began his career with his hometown club, FC Nitra . After going through all youth teams and the second team of his home club, he was accepted into the first team for the first time in 2009. There Mikuš was at 17 years and 4 months one of the youngest debutants in the history of the top Slovak division.

He was also one of the youngest debutants in the Slovak U-21 national team at the age of 18.5. Mikuš is considered one of the greatest offensive talents in Slovakia.

On January 9, 2013, it was announced that Mikuš was moving to the Austrian Bundesliga club FC Admira Wacker Mödling .
