Matej Stare
Matej Stare (born February 20, 1978 ) is a former Slovenian cyclist and later sports director .
After Stare won a stage in the Tour of Croatia in 2001 , he has been riding for the Slovenian cycling team Perutnina Ptuj since 2002 . In the following years he won the overall ranking of the Tour of Serbia and sections of other stage races and one-day races on the international calendar.
At the end of the 2010 season he ended his active career and became the sporting director of his last team, Sava .
