Mateo Carro , full name Mateo Gastón Carro Gaiza , (born October 27, 1994 in Atlántida ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
The 1.81 meter tall midfielder Carro completed eight games (no goal) in the Primera División for Centro Atlético Fénix in the 2011/12 season . He was also used once (no goal) in the Copa Sudamericana . In early March 2013 he switched to Boston River on loan , but returned to Fénix in July 2013. In the 2014/15 season he was used there seven times (one goal) in the top Uruguayan league. During the 2015/16 season, he completed ten more top division games (no goal). In early February 2016, he was committed by Fénix 'league rivals Juventud and came to the club from Las Piedras to six league appearances in the Clausura 2016. This was followed by eleven other first division appearances in the 2016 season. He did not score a goal for the club. At the end of January 2017, he joined the second division club Deportivo Maldonado .
