Mateusz Żarczyński (born September 30, 1990 in Bielawa , Poland ) is a Polish volleyball coach . He has been training the VfB Suhl Lotto Thuringia since 2018 .

Career

Żarczyński began his coaching career in 2015 as assistant coach to the Polish first division club Impel Wrocław . At the same time he worked as a statistician for the Polish U20 national team from 2017 . In the same year he signed a contract with the German first division club VfB Suhl Lotto Thuringia as a scout and assistant coach and worked there with Han Abbing until he was dismissed in January 2018 and Żarczyński - initially as an interim solution and later as head coach - succeeded him. Since May 2019 he has also been assistant coach of the Czech national team .
