Dagmar Boom (born May 1, 2000 in Venray ) is a Dutch volleyball player .

Career

At the age of eight, Boom went to an international match for the Dutch national team with her father and was fascinated by Manon Flier . She then started her own career at ActiveRooy Venray. Then she played at Set Up Meerlo . In 2015, when she was 15, she joined VC Peelpush Meijel , where she played in the second women's team. From there she went to Arnhem for the Talent Team Papendal. The outside attacker appeared with the team for the first time in the first division. In 2017 she made her debut in the senior national team at the Volley Masters in Montreux . At the U19 European Championship in Albania in 2018 , she played as a libero for the juniors. Then she was in the extended A-squad for the 2018 World Cup . In the same year she switched to Eurosped Twente . In 2020 Boom was signed by the German Bundesliga club VfB Suhl Lotto Thuringia .
