The Mathematics Magazine is one of the Mathematical Association of America issued, bimonthly in English scientific journal with articles on various topics of mathematics .
The target audience are college teachers and students in undergraduate studies. The magazine sees itself as a stimulating addition to academic training; However, it is not a publication for research, but rather offers interesting topics from mathematics, if possible including their historical context, with examples, illustrations and applications.
The authors come from all over the world, and the submitted contributions are examined using a peer review process and selected for publication.
Since 1976, the Mathematical Association of America has awarded a prize named after Carl B. Allendoerfer for articles of particularly outstanding quality published in Mathematics Magazine .
