The Ogilvie River is the left headwaters of the Peel River in Canada's Yukon Territory .

The Ogilvie River has its source in the Ogilvie Mountains . It initially flows north, but then turns to the east and later to the northeast. On his way he "breaks" through several mountain ranges of the Ogilvie and Nahoni Mountains . At the confluence of Engineer Creek , the Dempster Highway meets the river from the south and crosses it at the bridge at km 197.9 (mile 123). The road runs along the left bank of the river for 56 km to Ogilvie . The Ogilvie River cuts through the Porcupine Plateau in its lower reaches and finally meets the Blackstone River coming from the right . With this he unites to the Peel River. The Ogilvie River has a length of 232 km. The total length from the source of the Ogilvie River to the confluence of the Peel River with the Mackenzie River is 684 km.

Canoe tours of several weeks are offered on the lower Ogilvie River and further on the Peel River, starting at the river bridge at km 197.9.
