The Blackstone River ( black stone English for "black rock") is the right source river of the Peel River in the Canadian Yukon Territory .

The Blackstone River rises in the Cloudy Range , a mountain range of the Ogilvie Mountains . Its source is west of Mount Frank Rae in Tombstone Territorial Park . The Blackstone River flows north through Tombstone Territorial Park. At the Chapman Lake campsite , the East Blackstone River meets the river from the right. From here the Dempster Highway runs for a distance of 30 km along the Blackstone River. The Blackstone River flows in a north-northeast direction. He cuts through several mountain ranges in the northeast of the Ogilvie Mountains and the East Nahoni Mountains . Eventually the river reaches the Porcupine Plateau , where it joins the Ogilvie River coming from the west to form the Peel River. The Blackstone River has a length of about 200 km.

Canoe tours lasting several weeks are offered on the Blackstone River and further downstream on the Peel River. The advantage of the Blackstone River is its easy accessibility (by car) via the Dempster Highway. The paddling distance on the river to the mouth is approximately 140 km.
