history

The church of St. Lantpert in Pfettrach was originally a late Gothic building . From this church, parts of the choir were taken over into the new building from 1684 (consecration 1689). The nave and the presented west tower go back to the years 1866/67.

In the Middle Ages, Pfettrach was a closed Hofmark , which also included the village of Brandloh in the west. The Hofmark was temporarily owned by the Au dominion . The political community Pfettrach came into being with the community edict of 1818. In the course of the municipal reform , the community Pfettrach was incorporated into Attenkirchen on April 1, 1971.
