The Mathias Pschorr Hackerbräu Foundation or Pschorr Hackerbräu Foundation was founded in Munich in 1901 from the estate of the brewery owner Mathias Pschorr . It is administered by the cultural department of the state capital Munich . The purpose of the foundation is the beautification of the city and the promotion of arts, crafts and handicrafts.

The Pschorr Hackerbräu Foundation supports and promotes artists, craftsmen and handicrafts by awarding scholarships . Project and catalog grants are awarded annually by an expert jury on application.
