Mathilde Fibiger
Mathilde Lucie Fibiger (born December 13, 1830 in Copenhagen , † June 17, 1872 in Aarhus ) was a Danish tutor, women's rights activist and writer .
She worked as a tutor on Lolland. Under the pseudonym "Clara Raphael", she published the novella "Tolv breve" (Eng .: Twelve Letters ) in 1851 , in which she advocated full equality for women. The font was published by Johan Heiberg and received a lot of attention in Denmark. Fibiger's numerous later works were also devoted to the topic of equality . Her older sister Ilia Fibiger represented the same principles, but did not appear in the media.
Mathilde Fibiger is also referred to as the "founder of the Danish women's movement", an honor that she has to share with other candidates.
