Mathis Dossou-Yovo (born November 6, 2000 in Châteauroux ) is a French basketball player .

career

With Fleury-les-Aubrais, he became French champion in the U15 age group in 2015. From 2015 to 2018 Dossou-Yovo played for the team of the French youth training center INSEP in the third highest division in the country. With INSEP, he won the U18 youth competition of the EuroLeague in May 2017 . In summer 2018 he moved to the first division club Élan Sportif Chalonnais .

At the beginning of 2020, he was initially handed over to the second division ALM Évreux Basket by Élan Sportif Chalonnais by loan agreement , and for the 2020/21 season he moved (also on loan) to ADA Blois (second division).

National team

With France U16 selection, he competed at the 2016 European Championships in Poland. In spring 2018 he took part with the French U18 national team in the Albert Schweitzer tournament in Germany and in the summer of the same year in the U18 European Championship in Latvia . There he won the bronze medal with his team and contributed an average of 16.4 points and 8.1 rebounds per game over the course of the tournament. In summer 2019 he was third in the U19 World Cup with the French selection.
