Matipu

The Matipu are an indigenous tribe who live in the central Brazilian region of the upper reaches of the Rio Xingu (Alto Xingu) in the Brazilian part of the Amazon basin .

He belongs to the ethnic group of the so-called Xingu Indians and lives in the Parque Indígena do Xingu in the state of Mato Grosso . The language of the Matipu ( Matipú ) belongs to the Caribbean languages .
