Mats Grambusch

Mats Grambusch (* 4. November 1992 in Mönchengladbach ) is a German Hockey - National player .

Mats Grambusch began his career at HTC in Gladbach . In 2013 he moved to Rot-Weiss Köln with his brother Tom . In 2015 and 2016, the brothers won the German open-air championship with the Cologne team.

At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Mats and Tom Grambusch were represented in the German squad along with four other Rot-Weiss Köln players. The German team won the bronze medal. Since his debut in 2011, Mats Grambusch has played 77 international matches so far. (As of August 5, 2016)

For winning the bronze medal at the Olympic Games in Rio, he was honored with the silver bay leaf .

In addition to Mats and Tom Grambusch, sister Pia Grambusch also plays at Rot-Weiss Köln. Mats Grambusch studies economics in Cologne.
