The Gladbach Hockey and Tennis Club , or GHTC for short, is a sports club based in Mönchengladbach that was founded on May 9, 1919. The club colors are black and red.

Hockey youth

In the 2006/2007 indoor season, the A boys became the first male youth team to become German champions after 24 years. For the first time in the club's history, the GHTC made it into the German finals with three teams in the 2007/2008 season. The A boys defeated the Club zur Vahr Bremen 6: 3 and became German champions. The male youth B lost the final against Dürkheim 3-2. After losing the semi-finals, the female youth A won the game for third place 1-0 against TG Frankenthal. The strong 92/93 vintage was able to successfully defend its indoor hockey title in the 2008/2009 season and beat SC Charlottenburg 3: 2 (3: 0).

Sports facilities

The club has more than 50,000 square meters of club complex that includes twelve tennis courts, an artificial hockey turf field, a hockey turf field, a swimming pool, a beach volleyball court, a small artificial turf, a large sports hall and a clubhouse.
